Forgot to soak my nuts last night ... uhh, almonds I mean. The trickiest part of consuming only raw foods, or being on raw food diets, so far has been the lack of warm beverages. I live in Toronto, Canada, where it was -9'C last night, and I would have killed a man for a cup of tea. Well ... he'd have to be a bad man, and it would have be a big cup of tea.
I'm still not sure this is the best diet for me, but I have already lost weight with little to no effort. I'm interested to see if it will keep up. Raw foods seem to be a great healthy choice to lose weight fast. I'm still having trouble consuming fruits and vegetables in large quantities though. I had to make a real effort to eat my 8th banana last night. Becoming a monkey in 3 ... 2 ... 1

Oh, I almost forgot. I made my own mustard! Here's the recipe:
- Soak 1/2 Cup Mustard Seed (any color, or mix and match) for 48 hours in a bowl with 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar. I put a plate on top to keep it covered.
- Drop the soaked mixture in a high speed blender with 1/2 teaspoon of Tumeric, 1/2 teaspoon himalayan salt, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional).
- Blend well. You can add water to change consistency. Flavour will get mellower after refrigerated for a couple of days. Enjoy!
I feel super lame today. I made fun plans to go out and see a few punk bands today, and Nicole and I fell asleep at 9pm! So embarrassing. Ugh. That's on top of a short nap I took before lunch. I need more energy, fast!
