TOOLS YOU'LL NEED:

  • Food Processor
  • Dehydrator

Corn Flax Chips

INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED - Corn Flax Chips:
  • Flax Meal, 1 Cup
  • Frozen Corn Kernels, 1 Cup
  • Onions, 3 Tbsp Chopped
  • Red Pepper, 3 Tbsp Chopped
  • Himalayan Salt, 1 Tsp
  • Cajun Spice, 1 Tsp


Mushroom "Meat"
INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED - Mushroom "Meat":
  • Mushrooms, 1 lb
  • Sunflower Seeds (raw), 4 Tbsp
  • Garlic Powder, 1Tbsp
  • Onion Powder, 1 Tbsp
  • Cumin, 1 Tsp
  • Paprika, 1 Tsp
  • Pepper, 1 Tsp

INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED - Guacamole:
    • Avocados, 3 Very Ripe
    • Garlic, 3 Cloves
    • Lime Juice, 2 Tbsp
    • Onion, 2 Tsp 
    • Liquid Smoke, 2 Dashes
    • Ground Pepper, 1 Tsp
    • Himalayan Salt, 1/2 Tsp 
    • Cayenne, 1 Tsp

    INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED - Salsa:
    • Roma Tomatoes, 4
    • Onion, 1 medium white
    • Minced Garlic, 1 Tbsp
    • Ground Black Pepper, Dash
    • Lime Juice, 1-2 Tsp
    • Red Hot Peppers, 2
    • Himalayan Salt, Pinch


    STEP 1: Make a flax paste!
    1. Take your Flax, Corn, Onion, Red Pepper, Salt, and Spices and make them a rough paste in your Food Processor.

    STEP 2: Smack it down!
    1. Flatten your paste out onto a dehydrator sheet. It should fill up a whole sheet. We used a wooden spatula and a tablespoon to really pack it down and spread it the the edges.
    2. Dehydrate for about 2 hours.
    3. Remove from sheet, flip and dehydrate for 2 hours more (or until desired crispness).

    STEP 3: Cut it out!
    1. Once fully dehydrated, cut or break off 8 triangular pizza shapes.

    STEP 4: Mushroom "Meat"
    1. Combine Mushrooms, Sunflower Seeds, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Cumin, Paprika, and Pepper in food processor.
    2. Process lightly. You want it chunky like meat.
    3. Dehydrate for 1 hour.

    STEP 5: Guacamole!
    1. Take all of your guacamole ingredients from above, and blend well in your food processor. You may want to stir and process again to get rid of avacado chunks.

    STEP 6: Salsa!
    1. Quarter the tomatoes and scoop out the interiors, putting the meat and skins into the food processor.
    2. Add the rest of the salsa ingredients from above, and blend until chunky in your food processor.

    STEP 7: Dress it up!
    1. Now you can use the triangles as chips for dipping, or add your favourite toppings to make a kind of a mexican inspired pizza.
    2. We used a layer of Guacamole, then Mushroom "Meat", then Spicy Salsa. SO GOOD!
    3. Enjoy!
