Johnny's Raw Doughnut Holes - We couldn't wait and ate one before the photo! |
TOOLS YOU'LL NEED:
- Food processor (or a hammer, that'd work too)
- Refrigerator (or a snow bank / bucket of ice)
INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED:
- Brazil Nuts, 7/8 Cup (substitute with Almonds or Peanuts for Low Fat)
- Oat Flour (made from raw oats), 1/4 Cup
- Oats Flakes (raw), 1/2 Cup
- Coconut Oil, 2.5 Tbsp Liquid (use less for Low Fat)
- Agave Syrup, 2.5 Tbsp
- Cinnamon, 1 Tbsp
- Palm Sugar, 1 Tbsp
STEP 1: Nuts to you!
- Combine Coconut Oil and Agave Syrup (if your oil is solid, melt with a double boiler)
- Combine wet and dry ingredients together until well mixed.
- Roll into 10 round balls.

STEP 5: Get your coat!
- Combine equal parts Cinnamon and Palm Sugar.

STEP 6: They see me rollin' ...
- Roll the balls around in the spices until coated to your satisfaction. I did a light coating.
- Then refrigerate until hard.
- Enjoy!

PS - Try not to eat all of these. Especially if you used Brazil Nuts (the fattiest nut) like I did!
